Internet Safety

The Internet is a very cool place to get on and communicate with people from all around the world. There are lots off things that you can do like look up videos, music, and get on websites like Myspace or Facebook and talk to people that you know and people that you have never met before. But you just have to do it safely and use protection programs so that people do not steal your personal information and other stuff. The first rule is never tell anyone your password for anything that is on the Internet, like Myspace or Facebook, because if you do and say that you and the person that you told gets into a fight or something, They could get on and start saying stuff to people and then you get into trouble if they say something to somebody.
The second rule is try to think outside the box and think of a password that nobody will ever guess. The four most commonly used passwords are God, Sex, Money, and last names. The third rule is that you do not put up any information that can tell somebody anything that has to do with where you live, when you were born, where you hang out or who your family is. There  are some sick people in the world today that will take advantage of you.  Do not think that it can not happen to you because no body is really safe even if you are fifteen, sixteen, or even fifty years old because all it takes is one slip up and your life can go down stream real quick. Be careful out there guys and girls.

Online Gamers crack the AIDs enzyme puzzle

On the 19^th of September, groups of online gamers cracked the AIDS enzyme puzzle. They made a 3-D picture of it that you can turn and break down so that you can see the Biological Makeup of it. And so they can find what the AIDs virus is made of and develop better medication for it and maybe finally find a cure for the AIDs Virus.

They cracked the AIDs Virus in just three weeks time and they were working there butts off for nothing more than the satisfaction of doing it. Imagine if they were given an opportunity to try and crack cancer molecules and there was a million dollar grant for the team that cracks it. Or if they worked on some other diseases or other problems, just think of the possibilities.

This came in just the nick of time too because in 2009 the CDC (Center for Disease Control) said that almost fifteen thousand people died in the U.S. alone. There are more than one hundred and sixty five thousand people in the United States alone that have been diagnosed with the AIDs Virus.

My First Post

     What I hope to get out of the globaloria class? I hope to get some real life experience and use the information that I learn in this class. And use it in the real world and maby teach someone how to do some of the stuff that I learn in this class.
     What kind of game do I want to make in this class? I want to make some games that will teach someone a life leason about something. Maby about eating heathy or how to run a business or maby something about the government and how it works and why it is mest up right now.
     What am I most exited and most scared of in this class. I am most exited about the information that I am going to learn in this class. The only thing I am scared of is failing this class.
